Boys & Girls Club of the TN Valley

DIA served as the design -build architect with Johnson & Galyon Contractors to deliver the new 55,000 sq. ft. Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, located on Caswell Avenue, Knoxville TN. The facility opened in mid-2016 and the new 2-story building consists of multiple educational and activity centers, cafeteria and kitchen, 2-court full size indoor gymnasium, 25 meter 6-lane indoor competitive swimming pool, boys and girls locker rooms/ showers/restrooms, clinic, corporate offices, and outdoor playground areas. The project also included selected interior and exterior renovations to the existing and adjacent Boys and Girls Club building that makes up one of their largest East Tennessee Campuses.

The project was awarded 2017 Best Institutional Project by the Associated General Contractors.
