Originally from Cleveland, Tennessee, Tyler Goza made the roughly one hour drive up I-75 in 2010 and found a home in Knoxville. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Design. Tyler brings experience at two other Knoxville firms before joining DIA in 2016.

 Tyler is passionate about working with clients to find thoughtful and creative design solutions that meet and exceed client goals. He is detail oriented with a focus on making meaningful contributions to each project team. Tyler believes successful architects promote collaboration and a team mentality approach to design and construction. In his time at DIA, Tyler has been an integral contributor to projects at Regas Square Condominiums, Tyson Court Apartments, 200 Jennings Avenue office building, Hyatt Place Downtown Knoxville, Athens City Schools New PreK-5 School and Hankook Tire Plant among many others.

 Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys spending time with family at the lake, with friends on the golf course, coaching local youth soccer, or in the stands at Neyland Stadium on a Saturday afternoon in the fall. He is an active member in the East Tennessee chapter of the AIA, NCARB and CSI. Tyler is a licensed architect in the state of Tennessee.
