Josh grew up in south-central Pennsylvania and graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2012 with a Bachelor of Building Science and Sustainable Design and an Associate of Architectural Technology. Upon graduating, he spent the next 6 years working in mechanical engineering as a designer and Building Information Modeling/Virtual Design & Construction (BIM/VDC) manager. His work took him to Nashville where he became involved in the design of mechanical and plumbing systems as well as BIM/VDC for the Bridgestone Tower, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital vertical expansion, and various Vanderbilt University projects.
Josh arrived in Knoxville in 2018 with the intention to transition into architecture and quickly began managing projects ranging from new construction to renovations/additions in K-12 education, universities, government buildings, and churches. Along with his prior knowledge/experience in project management, Josh brings to DIA a passion in how architecture can serve the healthcare community with a holistic approach to design and construction to deliver timely results and exceed client expectations. Josh will graduate with his Master of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and seek licensure in the Fall of 2023.
When he’s not thinking about work or school, Josh enjoys playing guitar, writing music, golfing, residential architecture, and spending time with his wife, Megan and son, Cole.
