Aimee began her career at DIA in 2006 as an Interior Design student intern before moving into the role of full-time Interior Designer in 2007 following graduation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Throughout Aimee’s time at DIA, the Interior Design team has grown and contributed to nearly all projects that DIA has had the pleasure to be involved with. Aimee’s current role as Director of Interior Design at DIA involves working with the entire design team of architects and interior designers to ensure a thorough design process from the start of a project all the way through to the grand opening. Along with the interior design team, Aimee is fortunate to work on so many great projects in hospitality, corporate, healthcare, historic / adaptive reuse, schools, or anything else our clients might be brave enough to dream.
Outside of DIA, Aimee and her husband Marty enjoy cheering on their two girls in all their numerous activities. They also grow a great garden every summer and constantly pawn off their abundant veggies to the entire DIA family.
