Originally from Leesburg, Virginia, Lizzy came to Knoxville in 2018 to attend The University of Tennessee and study Interior Architecture. She graduated in 2022 and began the Master of Architecture program at UT the following semester. She is expected to complete her master’s degree in the spring of 2024. Lizzy’s passion for design began after being introduced to the field in middle school and has continued to grow ever since. In 2022, she joined the DIA team as a student intern and enjoys the variety of projects she gets to work on and how involved she is in them.

During her undergraduate years at UT, Lizzy was a member of Delta Gamma, KnoxVol Lions Club, and participated in intramurals. In the summer of 2021, she worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for the summer intensive course and the Interior Architecture construction documents course. In the fall of 2023, Lizzy will serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a freshman Architectural course.

In her free time, Lizzy loves spending time with her chocolate lab, Nala. They enjoy going for walks, visiting the dog park, and checking out local restaurants.
