Katherine is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee and is starting her career in Interior Design at DIA. Her passion for design began in high school, where she took numerous hand drafting and architecture courses. Her skillset grew throughout college and she is now proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Illustrator, InDesign and more. With some experience working in Nashville as an intern, she really enjoys working on various types of projects including hospitality, restaurant, and corporate. Katherine has expanded her expertise in construction detailing and space planning by working on tenant improvements and other various projects. She is currently working on obtaining her National Council for Interior Designer Qualification (NCIDQ) to become a Registered Interior Designer. Not only does she love being involved in selecting finishes, she finds all the details of interior architecture to be fascinating.
Outside of the office she enjoys learning new recipes and has a passion for health and wellness. She also loves pampering her adopted Labrador Retriever mix named Finn, and their favorite activity is to go on long walks after work.
