Zach grew up in the Knoxville area, attending Knoxville Catholic and eventually Pellissippi State, where he earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering Technology in Civil Engineering in 2018. He started working for an architecture firm in 2017 and continued working there until early 2021, doing production drawings for education buildings, some multi-family buildings, and the occasional residential project. After leaving the architectural firm in 2021, he moved to a manufacturing company based in Scranton, PA, where he produced final fabrication drawings for toilet partitions from March 2021 to February 2024 before accepting a position at DIA.

When Zach is not working, he enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and experiencing new environments, spending time with his family (younger twin brothers and parents) on the lake in the summer, and attending UT sporting events and live shows with his friends whenever the opportunity arises.
