Boys & Girls Club of the TN Valley

Design Innovation Architects (DIA) served as the design-build architect with Johnson & Galyon Contractors to deliver the 55,000 sq. ft. Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley located on Caswell Avenue, Knoxville, TN.

The 2-story building consists of multiple educational and activity centers; a cafeteria and kitchen; a 2-court, full-size indoor gymnasium; a 25 meter, 6-lane indoor competitive swimming pool; boys and girls locker rooms, showers, and restrooms; a clinic; corporate offices; and outdoor playground areas. The project also included selected interior and exterior renovations to the existing and adjacent Boys and Girls Club building that makes up one of their largest East Tennessee Campuses.

The facility opened in mid-2016, and the project was awarded 2017 Best Institutional Project by the Associated General Contractors.
