Downtown Knoxville Multi-Use Stadium
This new Multi-Purpose Stadium developed by Boyd Sports is being designed by GEM Associated Architects (comprised of Design Innovation Architects and Barber McMurry Architects) in conjunction with Populous providing the stadium expertise.
Not only will the stadium be the home to the Tennessee Smokies, but it will also host Knoxville’s first Pro Soccer team, One Knoxville. Other planned uses for the stadium include concerts, festivals, and other events. Surrounding the stadium will be multiple mixed-use buildings including retail, office, and residential spaces.
