Knox County Schools – Innovative School Model Projects

DIA, with Associate Architects Lewis Group (LGA), is completing a multi-part project for Knox County Schools that includes several middle and high schools for the county. The Innovative Schools Model Project proposed the possibility of each middle and high school identifying a design project related to STEM subjects. Since each school had different needs, each project required a unique design solution. In total, 23 separate projects were included.

The majority of these have been completed, with the last project currently under construction. DIA and LGA divided the production of the work 50/50, while DIA also managed the project administration, consultant coordination, and permitting for each of the schools.
