PIPS Technology Office Building

PIPS Technology’s goal was a unique premier building that reflects the advanced nature of their industry: the development and manufacture of (ANPR) Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems, parking systems, bus lane enforcement, congestion charging, and access control. The client also wanted to ensure the building’s exterior clearly expressed the main functions of the interior.

DIA deployed a substantial suspended canopy to delineate the entry and lobby, a protruding metal-paneled curved wall to define the training room, and on the second floor, an exposed curved trussed roof structure to house the Research and Development department. DIA chose a blend of brick, metal panels, and clean-lined metal siding and trim to express the distinctive nature of the high-tech work produced within. The interior design services we provided also paralleled the design of the exterior.
