Scandinavian Inspired Residence

The existing structure was a 1 story ~2600 Square foot residence located in Knoxville. While roughly 75% of the existing structure was demolished, the existing fireplace remained. The design inspiration was drawn from Scandinavian traditions: natural materials, abundance of natural light, and the integration of nature.

The new design features an open floorplan. There is excellent visual connectivity between spaces and to the outside, throughout.
