UT Gardens Visitor’s Center

The Visitor and Education Center is a project envisioned by the Institute of Agriculture Administration to be built in the next few years on the current University of Tennessee Gardens grounds. Other improvements to the gardens will include an open air amphitheater, as well as horticultural exhibits and experimental areas.

The function of the 28,000 sq. ft. facility will be geared toward the public use of the gardens by providing meeting and educational spaces, as well as multi-function spaces that can be used for garden sales, indoor weddings, and various other activities. Administrative and support facilities for the volunteers and staff who maintain the gardens will also be provided.
