UT Student Health Center
The University of Tennessee is consolidating physical and mental health services and the health education-related safety, environment, and education center into a single 90,000-square-foot state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to provide outpatient health services and information to the student body.
Based on the plans for the new facility, the project is tracking to meet silver certification for Leadership in Environmental & Energy Design (LEED).
This new healthcare center features30 exam rooms, 10 doctor’s offices, 10 nurse’s stations, a laboratory, a pharmacy, an x-ray suite, urgent care facilities, a physical therapy center, a women’s clinic, an allergy clinic, a counseling center, and many other services and ancillary spaces. All of these services will be accessed on the two main floors. A basement level will provide storage and facility support.
This project was a joint venture with the Lewis Group Architects.
